Our May Day wedding took place at the gracious estate of a family friend in San Diego. The weather behaved wonderfully for the pre-ceremony afternoon tea strewn with lush arrangements by Posies Flowers, and the lake side wedding began with Mark rowing to the ceremony in a wooden rowboat. Ashley Wedding Videography did a stellar job capturing some special moments throughout the day, and they got some great, unobtrusive footage during the ceremony. A poolside cocktail hour with entertainment from California Guitar Trio's Bert Lams, chapman stick player Tom Griesgraber, and silhouette artist Karl Johnson was followed by a candle lit dinner by the lake. The fantastic Third Coast Jazz Band and energetic dance instructors from 2 To Groove rounded out the evening, and an antique getaway car whisked us to the US Grant.
