Free Family Portrait Session Winners!

The winners from our last free give away received a family portrait session in beautiful and versatile Balboa Park. A mixture of poses and candids are hallmarks of all family session with children, and this was no exception. From mosaic animals, to rows of benches, Balboa park offered a great location for poses and play. The Hurley Family Session

We had the privilege of shooting the 2nd annual Hurley family session during their yearly vacation to the Hotel Del Coronado. This year, Patrick enjoyed walking around, nibbling the sand on the beach and cuddling with his parents. Although the weather didn't cooperate by giving us a sunset, the grounds of the Hotel and the natural beauty of the ocean gave us plenty of background options. We're certainly looking forward to next year, and seeing what Patrick will be up to then!

Nathan and Conchita's Wedding

After a fun downtown engagement session, we were really looking forward to shooting Nathan and Conchita's Spanish Village wedding. Chock full of details and special touches, from parasols and flip flops for the guests, to tossing pom-poms, a photo booth and an ice-cream cart, their wedding was peppered with laughter, mariachi music and lots of fun. Kasey Shepard from I Do Weddings kept the event running expertly and on time. DJ Daniel Peterson kept the crowd dancing late into the evening, and Aqua Vivus videographers wowed the crowd at the end of the night with a video of the getting ready through the ceremony. The Spanish Village Art Center created the perfect atmosphere for a colorful, vibrant wedding full of family and friends.
